At Home by High was created by neighbors, for neighbors to provide support, connectedness, and enable independence.
A connected, age-friendly community.
We are a part of the Village to Village Network which started when Boston's Beacon Hill neighborhood created Beacon Hill Village in 2002 to serve residents 50 and over by providing services and activities to allow them to age-in-place. Since that time, the village movement has expanded to over 200 villages across the nation. Each village caters it's services and structure based on the needs of the area it serves.
Greater Columbus Network of Villages
At Home by High is one of three villages in Greater Columbus. We are happy to partner with Village Connections and Village in the Ville to co-host events, share best practices, and advocate for a more age-friendly city. Our hope is to assist other Columbus neighborhoods to create their own village and build a city-wide network of more age-friendly events, activities, and resources.
